Why “Close Enough” Isn’t Good Enough
Traditional postcodes are great for sending birthday cards, but for a 3.5-tonne LoLoader® trying to find a specific loading bay or a hidden rural driveway, they can be a bit… broad. what3words has divided the world into $3m \times 3m$ squares, each with a unique three-word address.
The new app allows drivers to simply speak those three words—say, ///filled.count.soap—and get routed exactly to that spot. No more squinting at house numbers or doing three-point turns in narrow lanes because the “destination is on the right” was actually a quarter-mile back.
