LOLOADER® PRODUCTION AT AN ALL TIME HIGH

Trucksmith® are delighted to announce that 700 LoLoader® bodies rolled off the Devon based production line during 2017, surpassing all previous production records.

The Trucksmith® LoLoader® was originally designed over twenty years ago by Trucksmith® founder Brian Trebble and his team of coachbuilders.

Speaking from the Design & Development office located in a converted Double Decker bus at the Uffculme site, Brian explained, “The original idea behind our design was to combat the historic issues of poor aerodynamics and handling associated with Luton vans.  We developed the stylish, high volume, low floored vehicle using innovative manufacturing methods to achieve an outstanding payload that has become the hallmark of all Trucksmith® vehicles.”

PIONEERING DESIGN

The Trucksmith® LoLoader® features a 450mm loading height – the lowest in its category – eliminating the need for a heavy tail lift. Trucksmith® also builds the body using aluminium as standard rather than composites, which significantly reduces body weight, is stronger and increases payload.

QUALITY PRODUCTION, QUALITY VALUES

Daniel Trebble, who became Managing Director of Trucksmith® in 2007, commented, “This significant milestone in the history of the Trucksmith® LoLoader® demonstrates our continuing popularity within the UK van market.  Quality is at the heart of everything we do, be it in customer service, the supply chain or employing Six Sigma values in our production system.

The company’s innovative approach has led to Trucksmith® becoming the first port of call for customers nationwide looking for unique designs, premium commercial vehicle bodies and the building of small and large fleets.
