MORE THAN JUST ELECTRIC: THE INNOVATIVE DESIGN BEHIND THE LECCYLOADER’S SUPERIOR PAYLOAD

This National EV Week, let’s dive into what truly sets the Trucksmith LeccyLoader apart: its unparalleled ability to deliver on payload without sacrificing efficiency or range. This isn’t magic; it’s the result of relentless innovative design and engineering excellence.

When we set out to create the LeccyLoader, we knew that weight was going to be critical. Batteries are heavy, and an electric vehicle needs to be able to carry a significant load to be a viable commercial solution. Our design team went back to basics, developing a bespoke electric chassis that intelligently integrates the battery pack, motor, and other EV components. This allows for an exceptionally low loading height, which not only makes loading and unloading easier and faster but also contributes to a lower centre of gravity, enhancing stability.

Crucially, every component, from the lightweight yet incredibly strong composite body panels to the optimised chassis structure, was chosen and designed with payload in mind. This means you get an electric vehicle that doesn’t just look good but delivers genuine commercial utility, allowing you to carry more per trip, reduce overall vehicle movements, and boost productivity.

This same philosophy of maximising payload and ensuring build quality extends to our other EV offerings: the Target Tipper and Target Dropside. Built on robust electric base vehicles, these models are engineered to provide maximum carrying capacity for construction, landscaping, and utility work, proving that electric doesn’t mean compromising on hard-working functionality.

Next, we’ll explore the tangible benefits these electric vehicles bring to your daily operations and how Trucksmith’s excellent customer service makes the transition seamless.
