However, we’ve noticed a growing trend of other vehicle conversions being referred to as “low loaders.” While we understand the descriptive nature of the term, it’s important to clarify that “LoLoader®” is a registered trademark of Trucksmith. Using this specific name to describe other manufacturers’ vehicles is not only inaccurate but also constitutes passing off.
Passing off occurs when a trader misrepresents their goods or services as being those of another, or associated with another, and this is likely to deceive the public. When other companies call their vehicles “low loaders,” it can create confusion in the market and potentially mislead customers into believing they are getting a Trucksmith product when they are not.
